Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros" (White)
Le Chablisien - chardonnay
Grand cru
Durée de conservation
5 to 15 years
Température de service
10-12 °C

Origine
The Grand Cru plots overlook the village of Chablis on the right bank of the river Serein. The west/south-west exposure of the slopes ensures the vines enjoy an optimal amount of exposure to the sun.
Vinification
The wine is aged for 10 to 14 months, 20% in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness and 80% in barrels (new and previously used for up to 3 fills). Barrel ageing lends the wine complexity and depth. Blending the barrel-aged wine with the wine aged in vat enables us to achieve the perfect balance for each wine every year.
Bottled on the Domaine.
Notes de dégustation
Bougros is an expressive Grand Cru thanks to its geographical location, giving it plenty of exposure to the sun. The wine is broad and opulent with aromas of ripe fruit.
Mets d'accompagnements
This wine pairs perfectly with white meats in a sauce (even creamy sauces), all types of seafood and hard cheeses.
