Origine

The village of Ladoix is located 5 km north of Beaune, in the direction of Nuits Saint Georges, and sits at the foot of the famous Corton hill. In Ladoix, the Chardonnay grows in fairly deep, marly-limestone soil and produces generous, elegant wines. White Ladoix wines are rare and are therefore perfect for specialist wine merchants and sommeliers!

Vinification

The hand-harvested grapes arrive at the domaine's winery in small tubs. They are immediately pressed, then settled without the use of any sulphur, before alcoholic fermentation begins. Halfway through the fermentation, the juice is transferred to barrels (around 20% of which are new) to continue and complete its fermentation. The wines are then aged in barrels for 10-12 months until they are bottled.

Notes de dégustation

Green-gold colour. The wine’s fat, round character is accentuated by aromas of white flowers and hazelnuts.

Mets d'accompagnements

Fish in a sauce or nice quality poultry.
