Origine
The "La Pièce" wine is a single-vineyard selection introduced with the 2018 vintage by Jonathan Brunot, the third generation of the family.
This “Russilly” plot, which is largely limestone, was planted in 1970 and 1971. It is south-facing and therefore reaches perfect maturity.
Vinification
All the harvested grapes are destemmed and placed in concrete tanks. They are cooled to give them a few days cold pre-maceration.
The vatting period lasts about 14 days. Pumping over is carried out to preserve the wine's elegance and fruitiness.
All the wine undergoes 12-14 months ageing in barrels, 30% of which are new.
Notes de dégustation
This elegant wine is robust yet delicate, developing gorgeous berry aromas of blackcurrants, raspberries and morello cherries.
The palate is broad, fine and elegant.
Mets d'accompagnements
Excellent with white meats, light marinades or feathered game.
