Origine

The domaine's parcel is located north of the village, alongside Volnay, in a spot known as "Santenot Blanc".  The soil consists of Bathonian limestone and stony brown scree, lying on steep terrain.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and taken directly to the press. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels.  The temperature in the winery is checked regularly to ensure it stays cool. Barrel ageing will last 12 to 15 months, before bottling.

Notes de dégustation

Pale gold hue. Always very mineral on the nose, opening up with age. This is a robust wine, which is always rich and powerful. In Burgundy, they say that the wine of Meursault is the most structured and meaty.

Mets d'accompagnements

Can be enjoyed with all types of fish cooked in a sauce, or a platter of refined seafood (crayfish, etc.).
