Village
Durée de conservation
5 à 8 ans
Température de service
8 à 12°C

Origine
Located northeast of the village of Meursault, below the Clos du Cromin and on the boundary of the Meursault "Les Plures" 1er Cru. The hills are gently sloping with a southeast exposure. The soil here is clay-limestone, deep, stony, and located at the bottom of an alluvial fan from the Auxey-Duresses valley.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and go directly into the press. The pressing operation is smooth and slow in order to extract the grapes’ best constituents. After a light settling, the musts are transferred into French oak barrels (20-25% new oak), where alcoholic fermentation (using indigenous yeasts) will take place, followed by malo-lactic fermentation. After 12-16 months' ageing, the first racking, then a light fining, are carried out. Bottling takes place at the end of the second winter following the harvest.
Notes de dégustation
Golden yellow. Mineral on the nose. Discrete, very fine and delicate on entry to the palate, nice subtle roundness, typical of Meursault, with soft minerality. Very long on the palate.
Mets d'accompagnements
This wine pairs well with fish, shellfish and white meat.
