La Côte Chalonnaise - Chardonnay
1er Cru

6 to 8 years
Température de service

Origine
The vines, of an average age of 25 years, are located in the 4 villages comprising the Montagny appellation: Buxy, Montagny-lès-Buxy, Jully-lès-Buxy and Saint-Vallerin.
This wine is therefore derived from several Montagny 1er cru climats, including the 4 ha “Les Las” climat.
Vinification
As most of the vines grow near the domaine, the grapes arrive in the winery very quickly, which prevents any early oxydation.
They are then pressed in a pneumatic press (gentle extraction),
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats and malolactic fermentation is fully completed. The 10-12 months ageing in vat preserves the wine’s finesse and the freshness of the fruit.
Depending on the year, Yann Flandre might age the wine on its lees.
Notes de dégustation
Open on the nose, the palate matches the aromas found on the nose, with peaches and white flowers. Clean entry to the palate and a lovely long, delectable finish. Bright, light-gold hue.
To enjoy it with a fresh character, drink within 2-3 years. Its structure will also allow it to be cellar-aged for 4-5 years.
Mets d'accompagnements
Ideal for aperitif drinking, it also makes a nice match with seafood and grilled fish.
